This piece began in anger, rooted in the weight of historical pain and persecution carried within Jewish identity. I set out to confront that intensity, yet through the process the work transformed. What emerged was luminous and celebratory, filled with pinks and golds that speak to resilience and renewal. It marks a turning point: from inherited pain towards a self-defined, hopeful connection to my Jewish identity and future.
