Created after a Rosh Chodesh circle from a book I received that night, a fitting symbol for a beginning. Bereshit means “in the beginning.” For me, this was exactly that: the beginning of a new relationship with my Jewish heritage, my ancestors, and a part of myself I had long felt disconnected from. It is a work about opening: to curiosity, to belonging, and to the possibility that something within us can wait patiently until we are ready to meet it.
